“I didn’t quite understand why he wanted that fight so much. I don't know what Luke (Rockhold) saw in Paulo (Borrachinha) Costa in the last few fights to want to face him. Is it a fight he wins? Absolutely, but there is also a danger in the fight. Even when we saw him (Borrachinha) lose in the last fight, he looked good. I don't know what Luke saw in this fight that makes him want to face him. I support him and I will support him until the wheels fall off”, commented Cormier in an analysis of the podcast 'DC & RC'.
