Controversy in the legendary 'Gracie Family'. Digital influencer Jenifer accuses her father, Carion, of having defrauded her documents to enroll in the emergency aid program, adopted by the Brazilian Government for the most vulnerable people during the COVID-19 pandemic. The information was released by 'Congress in Focus'.

On the website 'Portal da Transparência', which aims to convey information about budget executions, Jenifer Gracie appeared as a beneficiary of an amount of R$ 3.900, divided into installments of R$ 300 and R$ 600. The problem is that the The digital influencer lives in the United States and, therefore, would not have made any request for the benefit. Now, she promises to enter the hearing against Carion.
“I'm in court against my father, he has my documents and he was the one who took the benefit in my name. (…) In July I will be in Brazil, unfortunately I will have to attend a hearing against him. For taking government aid in my name, without my authorization and other reasons”, Jenifer told 'Congress in Focus'.
The other side of the story…
When asked by the vehicle about the matter, Carlion Gracie gave his version of the story. For him, Jenifer's statements were due to a legal dispute between him and the digital influencer's hand in court.
“First, my daughter Jenifer is taking revenge because I discovered that she was deceiving me in a fraudulent inventory, which I discovered that she was hiding from me, as if I had no rights in the assets left by my deceased wife. Not to mention that when I found out, instead of explaining why she did it, she started to intimidate me and threaten me with lies and slander, and she accuses me of this help,” she replied.
Carlion is part of the second generation of notable names in the 'Gracie Family' and is the son of the legendary Carlos Gracie. He even has a 7th Dan red and black belt in jiu-jitsu.
