Khabib Nurmagomedov analyzes possible astronomical proposal for Francis Ngannou to compete in boxing

Former lightweight champion (up to 70,3 kg.), Russian suggests that Cameroonian leave the UFC, if contract in the 'noble art' serves as financial independence

Khabib Nurmagomedov gave his opinion on the heavyweight champion's (up to 120,2kg) contractual impasse. Francis Ngannou with the UFC. Amid speculation, the Russian suggests that the Cameroonian switch to boxing, as long as he has an astronomical proposal to compete in the 'noble art'. In fact, he believes that the athlete's financial context should influence his decision.

“Ngannou? I think he has to stay in the UFC. But if he goes into boxing and he's making $50 million or $60 million, that's fair enough. Why not? I know Ngannou comes from a very poor life in Africa. He was without money, without a home, without anything. So, if someone pays you more money, then go and take it,” Khabib said in an interview with 'Sky Sports'.

Ngannou is facing an impasse over renewing his contract with Ultimate and has already shown interest in competing in the 'noble art' to face names like Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder. In his professional career, he has a record of 16 triumphs and three setbacks.
