“At first it was fun. You feel special. Everyone is interested in you. But at this point, I know the fans are tired of it. I know the media is fed up with this. I'm fed up with this. I'm sure every organization is thinking, 'Where the hell is it going? Let's figure it out.' And I know that patience is a virtue, and it's something I'm sorely lacking. I already had to take a year off (2020) because of COVID, so I don't want to waste time,” said Kayla.
When asked about the delay in finding a new home, Harrison admitted that she did not know the reason for the uncertainty and made it clear that she would like to resolve this quickly.
“I really don't know what's going on. I'm getting tired of it at this point. I can't comment on where I'm going or what I'm doing, but I can comment that I'm getting tired of this. Whoever wants me, I'm ready to fight. I'm ready to sign on the dotted line, get a contract, have a fight scheduled. I'm tired of talking about it. I would like to find a new home, or I would like to talk to PFL to continue to make them my home. But I would like to do it sooner rather than later”, concluded the American.
Undefeated in professional MMA, Kayla harrison won the PFL lightweight tournament in 2019 and 2021. Olympic judo champion in 2016, the North American has been competed for by main organizations such as PFL, Bellator and UFC.
