Escalated to face Umar Nurmagomedov, Khabib's cousin, in UFC 272, brian kelleher dared, but did not go unanswered. Willing to provoke the Russian, the bantamweight (up to 61,2kg.) invited Conor McGregor to be in his corner at the event that takes place on March 5th. Realizing the attack, the opponent didn't let it go.

"Conor McGregor, I would like to stay in my corner for my fight in UFC 272, against Umar, Khabib’s cousin?”, wrote Kelleher, in his account on Twitter.
Undefeated in his career in MMA and a promising bantamweight fighter, Nurmagomedov did not leave his opponent unanswered. Simple and objective, the Russian returned the attack.
“That’s not going to help you (win), Brian,” he countered.
Kelleher's invitation could help promote the fight, as the Irishman and Khabib have one of the biggest rivalries in MMA history. In 2018, McGregor and Nurmagomedov shared the Octagon in a fight for the lightweight belt (under 70,3 kg), and the story did not end well.
After 'Eagle' won by submission', the Russian legend jumped out of the octagon and started a fight with members of the 'Notório' team. Afterwards, the fight extended to the 'cage' and the protagonists had to leave the battle arena escorted by security guards.
Scheduled for the confrontation that opens the show headlined by Colby covington e Jorge masvidal, Brian and Umar try to expand their good moments in Ultimate. While the North American is trying for his third consecutive victory, the Russian wants the second positive result in the company, in addition to defending his unbeaten record in his career.
