Great middleweight star (up to 83,9kg.) of Ultimate, Israel adesanya ruled out any possibility of a superfight against Kamaru Usman. “Kamaru can speak for himself and has done so, as have I. We already said we wouldn't face each other. For me personally, it's bigger than money. I have nothing to gain. He's a guy moving up from a lighter category, where he ends up being a protagonist of the story. It tends to escalate occasionally, and it's cool, but Kamaru isn't interested,” he admitted.
Sincere in his position, Israel took the opportunity for criticism. The fighter fired a shot at Abdelaziz, who manages big names in MMA, such as Kamaru, Khabib Nurmagomedov, Justin gaethje e Henry Cejudo.
“Ali is just greedy. He sees a 'mirage' of dollars. I can make that kind of money somewhere else. If I were fighting for money, I would have retired three fights ago. I'm ready, but it's more than money. It’s about legacy,” she closed.
Best weekend, Adesanya will make his first performance of the 2022 season. UFC 271, the Nigerian will have a reunion with Robert whittaker, athlete dethroned by 'Izzy' in 2019.
