Former welterweight champion (up to 77 kg), Douglas lima has a date set to return to Bellator's circular cage. The Brazilian faces jason jackson in the co-main event of Bellator London, on May 13th. The duel was announced by the organization this Tuesday (8).
In Bellator since 2011, Douglas lima He is one of the great names in the organization's history. The Brazilian was welterweight champion (up to 77 kg) on three occasions. The last of them was precisely his last victory in his career, when he defeated Rory McDonald in the final of the division tournament and regained the belt.
After that, however, Douglas lima suffered three consecutive defeats. The Brazilian was defeated by Gegard Mousasi in an attempt to also become middleweight champion (up to 83,9 kg), he lost the welterweight belt to Yaroslav Amosov and is coming off a setback in his rematch against Michael Page.
