“Man, I was really looking forward to this fight. I really was. And I had started preparing, I was ready to enter camp, get things started and finish this chapter soon. But as the 'Blessed One' (Holloway) says...it is what it is. But it was regrettable. Of course it's a great fight, I know people wanted to see it. But what can I do? That will just have to wait a little longer,” said Volkanovski.

Featherweight champion since 2019, Alex has already faced Holloway on two occasions, 2019 and 202, and won both by judge's decision. Your next defense will be against Korean zombie No. UFC 273, scheduled for April. The Australian has a record of 23 wins and just one setback in professional MMA.
