Owner of controversial and quite peculiar statements, the average weight (up to 83 kg) Sean Strickland added another one to his collection after defeating Jack hermansson by split decision in the main fight of UFC Las Vegas 47, last Saturday (5). When reaffirming his pleasure in hurting people, the American admitted that seeing his rivals hurt makes him excited.

“I just love (hurting people). I told you about Jack (Hermansson). As the rounds progressed, you started to see the eye turning black, the blood. It's fun. Gets me excited. It’s probably the only thing in life that I enjoy,” Strickland said at a press conference.

Despite the killer instinct and bizarre statements, Sean Strickland assured that he respects every opponent who has ever shared the Octagon with him.

“I always treat each opponent well because every defeat I've had terrifies me. I lie in bed at night thinking about them, about their names. So every time I hit a guy, I like to show him respect and dignity like a warrior who stepped into the octagon and faced me. There’s no shame in that,” concluded Strickland.
