Recently, Bellator expanded its actions and took the rivalry to a terrain already well explored by the UFC: reality shows. In June, the organization launched, in partnership with the North American cable channel Spike TV, the program “Fight Master”. In the opinion of Ultimate President Dana White, the strategy is not that authentic.

“The big problem I have is they are just copying. They don't have anything original there. His reality show is a ripoff of The Voice and The Ultimate Fighter. I can't believe The Voice hasn't sued him yet”, said the director, in a press conference given after UFC on FOX 8, last Saturday (27).

For White, one of the main problems is the business model adopted by the rival organization. “They have no idea what they are doing. You have a lot of guys who don't know anything about fighting on network television. Television networks acquire content. They don’t become prosecutors,” she said.

Finally, the president made his now routine “invitation to lose money” to those who dare to take risks in the fight business. “No one wants to see them on open television. They have terrible ratings. If they want to go into the business of pay-per-view, prepare to lose some money. Real money”, he said.
