The arm-bar placed on the challenger earned the champion a bonus of US$50, approximately R$112.

Besides Demetrious Johnson, Melvin Guillard also had reason to celebrate. The lightweight took the award for best knockout against Mac Danzig. The best fight bonus went to middleweights Ed Herman and Trevor Smith, who won the amount for their fight on the preliminary card.
