Or rather, all six, because in fifth place we have two athletes who were both 37 years and 3 months old when they became champions.
Michael Bisping and Fabrício Werdum
Only 9 days separate Fabricio Werdum e Michael Bisping, who share fifth place on our list as they are champions at 37 years of age. The Brazilian was 37 years, 3 months and 16 days old, while the Englishman was 37 years, 3 months and 7 days old.
Fabricio Werdum was the first to lift the belt, in 2014. The fighter from Rio Grande do Sul defeated the New Zealander Mark Hunt by knockout in the second round, and took home the UFC heavyweight title.
Two years later, Englishman Bisping won by knockout Luke Rockhold, for the middleweight belt. It was in 2016 and two years later Bisping retired.
Jan Blachowicz
Jan Blachowicz He was also 37 years old (but four times older than Bisping and Werdum) when he first lifted a UFC belt. It was in 2020, after knocking out Dominick reyes and rise to the top of the light heavyweight category.
The Pole was 38 years old when he ceded the title of champion to Glover Teixeira, which will appear again in this text.
Daniel Cormier
When knocking out Stipe Miocic in the first round of the main fight of UFC 226, Daniel Cormier became Ultimate Heavyweight Champion.
He was 39 years old and added this belt to the light heavyweight belt, joining the elite group of champion fighters in two categories.

Randy Couture
Going back to 2003, when MMA was still far from the popularity it currently has, we find a fighter who became champion at the age of 40, Randy Couture.

His last title was obtained when Randy Couture was 43 years old! It happened in 2007, at UFC 68. He would lose the belt months later, at the age of 44.
