In the third most important fight of theFight Music Show', an event held in Santa Catarina this Sunday (30), Esquiva Falcão made use of his technical superiority and boxing experience to beat ex-BBB Yuri Fernandes in the sixth and final round. In the fight, the Olympic medalist developed his game and had great moments in the performance.

Silver medalist at the London Olympic Games in 2012, Esquiva Falcão remains undefeated in the noble art. In his career in the sport, so far, the Brazilian has a 'perfect record' of 30 victories.

Yuri Fernandes, who revealed that he has been training in martial arts for 12 years, had his first experience in the sport and showed a good level and great resistance to withstand the power of the Olympic medalist's blows.

The fight

In the initial moments, the competitors measured the distance and Esquiva delivered the first blow to the waist line. Then, she threw a straight shot that connected with Yuri's face, who was trying to dodge and throw jabs to repel his opponent's approach. In the final stretch of the first round, Falcão cornered Fernandes with jabs and straight shots.

The return to the second round began with Yuri Fernandes taking the initiative and, with a greater number of blows, delivered a straight shot that hit Esquiva in the face. The Olympic medalist released the game with punches to the waist and 'calibrated' his hand, shaking the ex-BBB member close to the ropes.

Yuri already looked a little tired in the third half and Esquiva measured the distance with jabs and punches to the waist. Falcão then applied another cross square to the digital influencer's face.

In the fourth round, Esquiva Falcão decided to go for it and, in fact, delivered a straight right that opened the count for Yuri Fernandes. The former BBB member was clearly shaken, but returned to the fight. In the fifth round, the Olympic medalist reduced the intensity and decided to lower his guard and enter in specific moments.

And the decision happened, precisely, in the last round. Esquiva Falcão decided to reduce the range of action, quickened his pace and did his 'homework' to overcome Yuri Fernandes with a cross, which made the ex-BBB player unable to return to the fight.

Protagonists of the only female fight of the night, valid under the rules of mixed martial arts, Andressa Romero and Stephanie Luciano did not disappoint the public who were present in Santa Catarina. And, with frank striking, the two athletes left everything in the ring. The confrontation ended in a unanimous decision by the judges, with 'Gauchinha' winning.

Now, Andressa 'Gauchinha' Romero has scored her fourth career victory and has a record of four triumphs, one setback and another draw.

Stephanie 'Rondinha' Luciano feels the 'bitter taste' of her first defeat in professional MMA. She has three other victories.

Marco Tulio achieved the best victory of his career at the 'Fight Music Show'. The 'Chute Boxe' representative withstood the initial pressure from his opponent, turned things around and won by knockout at the end of the second round.

With the triumph, the Minas Gerais native achieved his second triumph in a series – the sixth of his professional MMA career. In his record, he has only one defeat.

França, in turn, is a former champion of the reality show 'The Ultimate Fighting 4', but is not having a good time outside of the UFC. As the host, the Caratinaense team failed to win and now has 22 positive results and eight negative results.

In the first fight of theFight Music Show', under MMA rules, Marcelo 'Indomável' Marques overcame the size difference against Pedrão Machado and, using grappling, managed to impose his fighting rhythm to win the judges' unanimous decision.

With the victory, the 'Indomitable' remained undefeated in his MMA career and has a record of seven consecutive victories. Pedrão suffers his first setback, while he also has four other victories.

In 'Brazil x Argentina' classic, Mário Sousa knocks out Antonio Gordillo

Former Contender Series, Mário Sousa faced off against Antonio Gordillo in the 'Brazil x Argentina' classic and did well. The Tupiniquim representative bet on frank striking and overcame the brother with a knockout in the first round. The duel was the second valid under MMA rules on the night.

With the triumph, Sousa recovers from his defeat on the reality show by Dana White, president of the UFC, in September 2021. In his MMA career, there are now 13 positive results and two negative results.

On the other hand, Gordillo's two-fight win streak is broken and suffers his fourth career defeat. He also has 14 triumphs.
