In the co-main event of Fight Music Show, held this Sunday (30), in Balneário Camboriú (SC), Rogério Minotouro and Leonardo 'Leleco' ignored the friendly atmosphere and delivered a real battle to the show's spectators. In a clash of frank exchanges between the veterans, the former representative of Pride He prevailed and was declared the winner in a unanimous decision by the judges.

Experienced in the 'noble art', the athlete once again proved his old courage and knew how to overcome Leleco's powerful attacks, which did not give the veteran an easy life.
A former UFC representative, Leonardo was competitive throughout the eight rounds of the match. Even without the same technique as his opponent, the 39-year-old fighter was in danger at times, but was unable to convince the judges.
In an interview after the 'war', Minotouro invited himself to the next edition of 'Fight Music Show'. Speaking to 'Combate', the fighter assured that he will perform better, with more time to prepare.
The fight
The fight started with Minotouro taking the initiative with jabs to Leleco's waistline. The opponent responded in kind. Still in the first minute, Rogério landed an overhand right that exploded in Léo's face. The duel remained frank, with the protagonists looking for a knockout. Near the final minute, Leleco connected with an uppercut, which shook the veteran. Minotouro launched attacks in the void and was at a disadvantage in the final stretch. The third round continued busy. Seeking to recover from the disadvantage in the previous stage, Leleco attacked with combinations to Minotouro's face and waistline. The former Pride responded with aggression and the battle was tense. Even walking forward, Leleco showed signs of tiredness and bet on 'snake killers' to surprise his opponent. In the final seconds, the fighters started to exchange franks, with Leleco having the advantage, but there was no more time.
In the fourth round, Rogério surprised with a sequence of jab and clean straight to Leleco's face. Leonardo responded with an upper, which exploded on Rogério's head. Near the final minute, Leleco let his guard down and was chased by Minotouro in the ring. Just like in the previous stage, the fighters went for it all or nothing, but the timer reached zero.
Round number five returned on the same frequency. Leleco went all out on Rogério and pressed his opponent against the ropes, throwing crosses that touched the veteran. Near the final minute, Minotouro hit Leonardo with a clean right to the face. Leleco responded with cross combinations, which rocked Minotouro. Once again, the round ended with the veterans exchanging frank attacks close to the ropes.
In the sixth round, the athletes, more worn out, started the stage saving on their attacks. After just over two minutes, Leleco started to act with his guard down. Minotouro tried to take advantage of the moment and landed a clean direct hit on his opponent. Leonardo met again and surprised his rival with a sequence of jabs and straight shots. Rogério showed courage and continued walking towards his opponent. The assault ended with Leonardo putting pressure on him.
The penultimate round began with Minotouro putting pressure on Leleco and throwing more strikes than his opponent. Leleco tried to respond, but Rogério still showed that he was active in dodging. Near the final minute, Minotouro landed a clean uppercut on Leonardo's face. Leleco responded in kind and shook his opponent. The clash remained tense, with the athletes seeking to end the confrontation. Towards the end of the stage, the fight continued to be fierce and the public was cheering.
In the last round, the fighters continued to put up a real battle. Minotouro walked forward and threw straight shots and jabs. Leleco did not leave his opponent's attacks unanswered. Close to the end of the dispute, the veterans continued to exchange openly. The fight ended with the protagonists launching attacks and trying for a quick outcome.
