The new agreement includes nine fights. Businessman Mike Kogan, who represents Nelson's interests, disclosed the length of the contract to the MMAjunkie website. Asked about the financial aspect of the agreement, Kogan refused to answer, citing a confidentiality clause.
As already announced, the first fight of Roy Nelson's new contract will take place at UFC 166. He will face the undefeated Daniel Cormier in the event that will be led by the trilogy between Cain Velazquez e Junior Gypsy, valid for the belt in the same category.
