Current Bellator lightweight champion (up to 70,3kg), Patricky Pitbull ruled out the chance of facing the featherweight leader (up to 65,7kg) A. J. Mckee. In an interview with 'Combate', the Brazilian athlete made it clear that he does not intend to harm his brother Patrício, who is seeking a rematch against the North American, dreaming of resuming his reign.

“It's a fight I wouldn't accept so as not to harm my brother in a rematch. I accept a fight with anyone, I'm a fighter, at least I am. There are some who run. I don't deny fighting anyone, I've never denied a fight in all the times I've been offered, I've never asked for a change and I see no reason not to accept it, the only reason is my brother. Because it would harm my brother in a future rematch”, said Patricky.

In preparation for his first title defense, the lightweight champion named some possible opponents and teased A. J. Mckee.

“We have three big names. Brent Primus, a former champion who has been talking a lot, is dying to fight for the belt despite having run away from me once. Now that I have the belt, he's dying to fight me. We also have Sidney Outlaw, number 1 in the ranking, and there is the braggart from A. J. McKee talking like hell, articles always coming out, him making videos wanting to appear. Let’s wait and see who the next opponent will be”, concluded Pitbull.
