Definitely, the relationship between Dana White and Francis Ngannou is shaken. In a rare moment after title fights, the president of Ultimate chose not to step into the Octagon and, therefore, did not wear the heavyweight belt (up to 120,2kg.) to the Cameroonian – who had just defended it in the clash against Cyryl Gane, valid by UFC 270 last Saturday (22).

Asked about the controversy, Ngannou decided not to add another episode. In an exclusive post-event interview, the champion stated that he did not know Dana's motivations for not being in the cage at the time of the announcement.
"I don't know. You (journalist) would have to ask him. I don't know anything about it and I might also have to find out about it (laughs)”, highlighted Ngannou.
Before, even, the agent had complied with the protocol and even wore the flyweight belt (up to 56,7kh.) in Deiveson Figueiredo, which hit Brandon Moreno in the unanimous decision of the judges, in the second most important fight of the night. It is therefore unknown what led to Dana's absence from the Octagon.
