After suffering a heavy defeat in UFC 263, Deiveson Figueiredo chose to adapt his life for the trilogy against Brandon Moreno in edition number 270, which took place last Saturday (22). And, with preparation alongside the former champion Henry Cejudo at 'Fight Ready', the Brazilian regained the flyweight title (up to 56,7kg.).

In a post-event press conference, Deiveson said that the victory had a 'new flavor', as it was a reconquest. He even tried to value the move to the United States as one of the trump cards for his success in the unanimous decision of the judges.
“I already had this taste of winning the belt, but losing it and winning it back is, without a shadow of a doubt, something wonderful. Even more so when you have a new family. I'm happier, because I won the first belt with my team in Brazil and now I come to a new family and have the opportunity to win the belt again. It’s a lot of happiness,” said Figueiredo.
Flyweight champion (up to 56,7kg.), Deiveson Figueiredo turned things around and became the fourth Brazilian athlete to hold an Ultimate belt today. In his career, the man from Pará has a record of 21 triumphs, two setbacks and one draw.
