O 'Eagle Fighting Championship' announced another former Ultimate athlete for his squad. Welterweight (up to 77kg.) Impa Kasanganay signed with the Khabib Nurmagomedov and should even make his debut on the March 11th card, which will feature a duel between veterans Kevin Lee e Diego Sanchez in the main fight of the night. The information was released by 'MMA fighting'.

Kasanganay joined the UFC after appearing on 'Contender Series', a reality show where Dana White discovers new talents for the organization. And, in Ultimate, the North American had four fights, with two victories against Maki Pitolo and Sasha Palatnikov, as well as two other setbacks against Joaquin buckley e Carlston Harris, in his most recent appearance.
And it was in Dana White's franchise, in fact, that Impa suffered the 'most beautiful knockout in history', according to the agent himself. In October 2020, the fighter succumbed to the power of Joaquin buckley with a powerful round kick. At the time, he fell knocked out, in slow motion.
Professional since 2019, Impa kasanganay has a record of nine triumphs and two setbacks in his career in mixed martial arts. At 28 years old, he trains at 'Sanford MMA', which also features athletes such as Gilbert Durinho, Michael chandler e Vincent Luque.
