Neither UFC nor Bellator: new MMA star, Kayla Harrison forwards renewal with PFL

Two-time champion of the Professional Fighters League, Olympic champion is close to agreeing a new bond with the company

Listed to join the group of UFC and Bellator athletes, Kayla harrison can say 'no' to those interested. According to reporter Ariel Helwani, the Olympic champion is negotiating a new contract with the PFL and should remain in the organization. In recent months, much has been said about a superfight between the North American against Amanda nunes ou Chris Cyborg.

PFL's main name, Harrison has worked for the company since June 2018. In the company, the athlete began her legacy in MMA, becoming, in almost four years with the company, two-time lightweight champion (up to 70,3kg.) and taking it to wins two prizes of US$1 million (more than R$5 million).

A new martial arts standout, Kayla has drawn attention for her technical superiority over her rivals in the Professional Fighters League. Last season, the North American won the lightweight tournament by beating Taylor Guardado in the grand final.

Against Guardado, Harrison had no difficulties and needed less than 10 minutes to settle the score with a shot. The commitment marked the last fight of the athlete's contract with the company.

PUBLICITY:

After Kayla's new success in 2021, Dana White and Scott Coker, presidents of the UFC and Bellator, publicly admitted their interest in counting on the two-time Olympic champion. The fighter's future, however, must, in fact, be the organization she has defended since 2018.
