Despite the surprising defeat to Chris Weidman, and the considerable diminution of its mystique, Anderson Silva can still put on a superfight. At least that is the opinion of the former champion's manager, Ed Soares. In an interview with the website sherdog, Soares spoke about Spider's future in the UFC.

“What ended up happening to Anderson (defeat at UFC 162) could happen to anyone, on any day. I think superfights are still on the table. But now they are in the future. What should be on everyone's mind should be revenge with Chris Weidman,” said the agent.

Ed Soares also commented on Spider's first defeat in Ultimate. “I think it just humanizes Anderson. We hadn't seen that yet and I think it's just a part of the business we're in. Eventually you're going to lose and it was a shame he had to lose like that. But he lost. Like I said, one night won't erase what he's done over the last seven years. He made a mistake. And in this sport if you make a mistake you can get knocked out,” he concluded.

Anderson Silva was defeated by Chris Weidman at UFC 162 and lost the middleweight title, which he had held since 2006. The rematch between the former champion and the new belt holder has already been scheduled for December 28, at UFC 168.

Save your time, because no one wants to know more about Anderson Silva and his ARMED “fights”… This setup and clowning by Anderson Silva no longer works, the only people who still believe in this idiot are those who are idiots. All of this is nothing more than manipulation aimed at increasing the profits of the event and its hired actors.
I just have a suggestion for the UFC: pay for a theater course for the fighters, because that way they will certainly know how to fake future plots better.
