Deiveson Figueiredo shows confidence in regaining the flyweight belt: 'I'm sure of it'

Former owner of the flyweight belt (up to 56,7kg), Deiveson Figueiredo He showed complete confidence in resuming his reign. On the 'media day' of UFC 270, which takes place next Saturday (22), the Brazilian fighter made clear his desire to be the first athlete to knock out Brandon Moreno and said he has no doubts that he will regain the division title.

“I'm going to prove that I'm a very dangerous guy. I want to be the first guy to knock out Brandon Moreno. I said I would finish Joseph Benavidez. Nobody finished Benavidez. Now I say I'm going to knock you out Brandon Moreno”, said the Brazilian.

“I feel ready for this fight. I will show everyone that I am much better than Brandon Moreno. I'm going to show everyone that I wasn't focused on the last fight. I'll show it on Saturday when I get my belt back. I'll get the belt back on Saturday. I'm sure of that”, concluded Deiveson.

The third duel between the 'God of War' and Brandon Moreno will happen in UFC 270 this Saturday (22). The first confrontation, in December 2020, ended in a draw. In the rematch, in June 2021, the Mexican fighter put on a show and submitted the Brazilian in the third round. Figueiredo has a record of 20 wins, two setbacks and one draw in professional MMA.
