After being among the eight best athletes in TUF Brasil 2, Cleiton “Foguete” Duarte will take part in the main fight of the 28th edition of the Watch Out Combat Show (WOCS). On fight night, which takes place in the city of Gramado (RS), Foguete will face Felipe Silva.
In the reality show, the gaucho went through the qualifiers with a split decision victory over Bruno Dias. In the round of XNUMX, Foguete ended up defeated by Thiago Alves. The fighter, however, was selected for the repechage and qualified for the quarterfinals after his opponent, Daniel Gelo, failed to make weight. In the next phase, he ended up eliminated after losing, by unanimous decision, to the Argentine Santiago Ponzinibbio.
In WOCS, Cleiton will act as a lightweight (up to 70 kg category), unlike TUF – where he participated as a welterweight (up to 77 kg). Foguete has a record of 14 fights – with 13 wins and just one loss. His opponent, Felipe Silva, has only one fight as a professional, won by knockout.
WOCS 28 takes place on August 10th, at the Ginásio Municipal de Esportes José Francisco Perine, in the city of Gramado, in Rio Grande do Sul. Check out the full event card below:
