Amid constant provocations and negotiations, the UFC heavyweight champion (120,2kg.) Francis Ngannou seems to believe that the possible superfight against the boxer Tyson Fury will come to fruition in the future. Despite being focused on the duel against Cyryl Gane No. UFC 270 on January 22nd, the Cameroonian is, once again, interested in an experience in boxing.

“Yes, I believe this fight will happen. I think that Tyson Fury He wants the fight to get off the ground too. So eventually it will happen at some point. I can't say specifically when, but it will definitely happen, as we are both willing to face each other,” Ngannou revealed in an interview with 'DAZN'.
Based on boxing, Francis has always declared his interest in testing himself in the 'noble art', although Ultimate's president, Dana White, has been reluctant about giving his athletes to other competitions. The Cameroonian, however, compares the situation to the fight between Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather, which happened in 2017 and wants the franchise's support in a possible duel.
“It's not like freely going to have a boxing fight, but I would like something like Conor (McGregor) and (Floyd) Mayweather did. I think it would be a bigger fight with the support of the UFC. Anything you do with the UFC behind it will be huge,” he concluded.
Ngannou is scheduled for January 22nd. At the UFC 270, the French-Cameroonian will share the octagon with his former training partner Cyryl Gane, in a duel valid for the unification of the heavyweight title (up to 120,2kg.). In his career, there are currently 16 positive results and three negative results.
