After two consecutive defeats among the middleweights (up to 84 kg.), the fighter decided to move down a category.
Toquinho, who hasn't fought since December 2012, took advantage of the long period without fights to plan a weight loss project. “This break was the best thing that happened to me. I was able to organize myself, put things in place, make changes and work. It's a fresh start, thank God, and there's a certain relief in seeing everything new. Now I want to fight soon, I’m already looking forward to it”, said Toquinho, to journalist Maurício Dehò.
Rousimar Toquinho has an MMA record of 14 wins and five losses. In the UFC, the athlete from Minas Gerais has a record of seven wins and four losses.
