Amid speculation about his next title defense in the lightweight division (up to 70,3kg), Charles of the Bronx decided to innovate in interacting with its fans. In your 'Instagram' official, the champion made a public poll so that his followers could guess whether his next opponent will be Conor McGregor ou Justin gaethje.

“Let’s start the year with this poll (about) who you would like to see fight me,” wrote Do Bronx in a post with photos of the two possible opponents.
The most liked comments indicated that the preference of a large part of his audience is for a fight against McGregor. Including responses from Rodrigo Minotauro and his coach at 'Chute Boxe', Diego Lima. However, the 'Notório' is still recovering from an injury to his left leg suffered in the trilogy against Dustin poirier, in July 2021.
Despite the public's preference, Conor is not having a good time in the Ultimate octagon, as he has lost three in the last four, with his last victory coming in January 2020, against Donald Cerrone. The Irishman occupies ninth place in the category.
On the other hand, Gaethje may represent the best opponent on sporting merit. Number one in the ranking behind only Do Bronx himself, the North American surpassed Michael chandler in his last appearance after a three-round 'war' considered, for many, to be the best fight of the last year.
