Francis Ngannou reveals his desire to face Tyson Fury or Deontay Wilder in boxing

UFC heavyweight champion wants to test himself against two of the division's biggest names in the noble art

It is not today that Francis Ngannou, UFC heavyweight champion (up to 120,2 kg) shows interest in venturing into the boxing ring. In a recent interview with the “TMZ Sports” website, the Cameroonian reaffirmed his desire and cited two heavyweight stars of the noble art as targets.

"Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder. I would like to test myself at that level. It's not the same sport, even though I'm the champion, I'm at the top of the division. At the end of the day, it's about trained hands, trained punches, having a good delivery system to produce bombs. I'm sure that if I deliver my own punch, it's great, I can do a lot of damage”, analyzed Ngannou.

In the final stretch of his current relationship with Ultimate, Francis Ngannou is in a drawn-out negotiation with the organization to renew the contract. According to the champion, a possible agreement with the UFC must include the possibility of venturing into the boxing ring.

“It was always in question. It's something I've never taken my eyes off of. It's going to happen anyway. Even if the UFC and I reach an agreement, the boxing part has to be included, because I don't see myself retiring without boxing”, guaranteed the Cameroonian.
