Multi-time boxing champion, Canelo Alvarez wins 2021 'Fighter of the Year' award in US magazine

Mexican, who won three fights this year, was chosen as best boxer by 'The Ring' magazine

Today's boxing star, Mexican Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez was elected 'Fighter of the Year' by the renowned magazine 'The Ring' for his year 2021. During the season, the athlete collected three victories against Avni Yildirim, Billy Saunders and Caleb Plant and, with that, also became super champion of four organizations of the 'noble art' in the super-middleweight category (76kg).

Canelo is a champion of the World Boxing Council (CMB), World Boxing Association (AMB), World Boxing Organization (WBO) and International Boxing Federation (FIB). In his career, the Mexican has a professional record of 57 victories, 39 of which were by knockout, one defeat and two draws in his career.
