UFC Rio 4: Koscheck is injured and fight against Demian Maia is canceled

Information was released on the official UFC Twitter in Brazil; event card will now have 12 fights

This Thursday morning (12), the UFC Rio 4 card suffered a major loss. For the Twitter, the Ultimate organization announced that the North American Josh koscheck is out of the event due to an injury and that his fight against the Brazilian Demian Maia is therefore cancelled.

“UFC 163 news: Josh koscheck was injured and is out of the fight against Demian Maia. The event will continue with 12 fights now”, wrote the organization’s official profile in Brazil. The order or cause of Koscheck's injury, however, was not revealed.
