After a good victory over Jason High at TUF Brasil 2 Finale, on June 8th, Erick silva he must be close to returning to the octagon. The athlete himself revealed the information in an interview with the Sensei program, on the cable channel SporTV.
“For now I don't have a fight scheduled, but I received a message from my manager, asking if I could fight in October. I said that in October I could be prepared, if I'm going to schedule something in October, I'll be ready”, said Erick.
According to the current calendar of Ultimate events until the end of the year, there is only one edition scheduled for October: UFC 166, in Houston (USA), which will have Velasquez vs Cigano 3 as the main fight. However, this does not eliminate the possibility that another fight night will be scheduled for the month.
the capixaba Erick silva, 29 years old, has a record of 15 wins and three losses as a professional. Since his debut in the UFC in August 2011, the welterweight has won three victories and suffered two defeats in the main MMA organization on the planet.
