UFC forwards duel between Bruno Blindado and Alex Poatan to event in March

The UFC has scheduled a duel that promises to shake up the organization's middleweight division (up to 83,9 kg). According to information from “Combate”, Brazilians Alex Poatán e Bruno Blindado face each other in an event scheduled for March 12th, in Las Vegas (USA).

The fight marks the meeting between two Brazilians who are among the biggest prospects in the division that has Israel adesanya as belt holder.

With only five fights in professional MMA, Alex Poatán has a vast CV in kickboxing, a sport in which he was world champion with GLORY and has already knocked out the current UFC champion, Israel adesanya. The São Paulo native debuted in the Ultimate Octagon in November this year, at UFC 268, when he knocked out Andreas Michailidis with a beautiful flying knee.

On the other side, Bruno Blindado He also draws attention for his ability to fight on his feet. The former champion of M-1, a Russian MMA event, debuted in Ultimate in June this year and has already recorded three victories in the Octagon, all by knockout.

Still in development, the card for March 12th already has the confirmed presence of other Brazilians. In the bantamweight division (up to 61,2 kg), Marlon moraes faces song yadong.
