“This definitely changes the entire landscape of the bantamweight division. I think the next step will be Amanda and Julianna again. All signs point to this being the next fight and I think Julie wins again, especially since Amanda has already been broken by her once. I believe Peña can definitely do it again, probably with more ease the second time. I need to get in the win column again, so I'll probably fight in March, that's what I'm looking at. I don’t want to fight Julie because I’ve been rooting for her to get there for so long,” Tate said.

Even though she is aware that her phase is not the best, 'Cupcake' believes that she can reach a new title fight, however, she revealed that she would not like to have to face Julianna Pena.

“If Juliana is still the champion when I get there, then I think that's a conversation we have to have at the moment. I'll probably have to get two wins before I get to a title fight, so I have to focus on myself. I will continue to root for Julie and pray that we never have to fight each other,” said Miesha.

Julianna Pena e Miesha Tate met during the recording of season 17 of the reality show 'The Ultimate Fighter' which took place in 2013. At the time, 'Cupcake' was one of the coaches, alongside Ronda Rousey and chose the 'Venezuelan Shrew' as the first option for his team. The current bantamweight champion did not disappoint and won the show's title by knocking out Jessica Rakoczy in the big decision.
