The 2013 edition of “Maior São João do mundo”, in Campina Grande, featured the reunion of two illustrious sons of the city of Paraíba: heavyweight and former UFC title challenger Antônio “Pezão” Silva and striker for the Brazilian team Hulk – who was recently part of the Confederations Cup winning group. The meeting, which took place this Sunday (7), was recorded by Pezão on his profile on Instagram.
“With the idol from Paraíba Hulk on the last day of Maior São João in the World. You know a lot”, wrote the fighter, along with the image in which he appears in a “face-off” with the football player. If Hulk, who is known for his physical strength, decided to try his luck as a fighter, he would still be two categories below Pezão.
Enjoying a period of rest in his hometown, Antônio Silva still has no plans to return to the Octagon. In his last appearance, the Brazilian ended up defeated by Cain Velazquez in the heavyweight title fight, in May this year, at UFC 160.
