At the press conference after the event, the manager stated that the rematch is what the now former champion wants most. “Anderson Silva I've lost before, but I didn't know what it was like to lose anymore. He's going to have to deal with this for a few days, but I guarantee there's nothing he wants more than a rematch with Chris Weidman,” White stated.

Anderson should really be fed up with the pressure that the UFC boss puts on Brazilian fighters so that the division titles pass through the hands of Americans. The UFC's big income comes from the United States, it's an American event and AS and José Aldo are a big bother because they've held the belts for a long time. Everyone who demonstrates the ability to sell fights and a certain chance of beating the champions is placed ahead of the first in the ranking. This demoralizes the organization and demotivates the fighters. The UFC had huge profits, but it fought its fighter very badly, just like José Aldo, trying to take away the title he obtained in every way. I think that's why AS demoralized the middleweight belt, since everyone saw that the belt wasn't around the best's waist and everyone could foresee Vitor, Jacaré, Okami and others easily taking this belt and AS walking in the category without wanting to fight for the strap. The category is demoralized and Dana will be left in the C of the snake with AS bringing crowds to see his fights and the champion unable to prove that he is the best.

Your point of view is interesting, I'm so angry at his carelessness that I didn't think of it that way, but it's a conspiracy theory but I think it's very plausible.

I'm a fan of Anderson, I like him a lot, but he acted irresponsibly in this fight and could have helped his son, who could now be a laughing stock at school.

  3. AFTER THIS SHAME THAT WAS ANDERSON SILVA'S MEDIOCRE PRESENTATION, I THINK THE ORGANIZATION SHOULD RETURN THE MONEY FOR THE TICKETS.

The problem wasn't losing, the problem was that Anderson didn't fight. The least he can do now, after this embarrassment, is ask for a rematch so as not to retire in a shameful way.

a lot of people talking, but here's one thing, denisson, if the guy is an undefeated champion, do you think he lost to vitor, jacaré, okami??? If he's undefeated in the category, as far as I know, he hasn't lost a single fight, right? Why now that he's champion is he going to lose to one of the three? !! grow and appear mlk!

It's AS's style to fight like this, provocative and with his guard down, like Muhammed Ali's, I don't think it's arrogance as many said, but in this fight in particular there was something different, I felt some discomfort from Anderson, the other time he was He was so provocative against Damian, but on that occasion he fought, and this time he was just provocative. I think Anderson is a much better fighter and I think that if there were 10 Spider x Weidman fights, AS would win 9.

FOR ME THIS IS A GREAT MARACUTAIA JUST LIKE IN THE TIMES OF THE GLORIOUS DON KING IN BOXING….. IF MONEY HAS BEEN TALKING LOUDER, I DON'T BELIEVE THAT SPIDER WOULD KEEP SHOWING UP IN THIS WAY WITH THE FIGHT STILL OUT OF CONTROL, PLEASE NOTE THAT THE NEGRÃO IS ARROGANT BUT HE'S NOT A FOOL, HE ONLY KICKS HIS FACE WITHOUT GUARD WHEN HE'S ALREADY SHAKEN HIS OPPONENT IN SOME WAY, WHICH WASN'T THE CASE

It's clear that AS was fed up and his pockets were full, everyone realized that a well-to-do guy, aged 38, doesn't want or need this sacrifice anymore and the only way to get rid of the UFC's crazy contracts was to play, lose and leave calmly.

Anderson, gave a beautiful presentation. I think he is a super cunning, perceptive man and he certainly has a plan B. His respectful behavior towards his opponent is admirable. Unfortunately, he lost, but he put on the show we all love to see. Congratulations, Anderson Silva, you have already brought us a lot of joy and this defeat is not why you should be despised.
