The possibility of a fight between Do Bronx and McGregor excited the former fighter and current UFC commentator, Michael Bisping. When discussing a possible confrontation, the Englishman stated that the Irishman has the capacity to 'come back' and knock out the Brazilian. He also highlighted that, despite coming from two consecutive defeats, the 'Notório' could get the chance by polarizing opinions.

“Conor did a great job of being absolutely polarizing. Polarizing is great, half of them want you to win with passion and the other half want you to lose with passion. And when you're in the fight, that's the best position, because people are watching anyway to see if you're going to win or lose. And it's not impossible that he'll come back and knock out Charles (from the Bronx) Oliveira. It would be an insult to say otherwise. Of course he can. Do I see this happening? I don't know,” Bisping said on the show'Big Drama Show'.

With a notable evolution in striking and a sharp game in his renowned jiu-jitsu, Charles of the Bronx is at his best moment in MMA. After defeating Dustin poirier No. UFC 269, the Brazilian increased his record to 32 triumphs, eight setbacks and one fight without result.

McGregor, in turn, is a former featherweight (up to 65,7kg) and lightweight (up to 70,3kg) champion, but is not going through a good phase in the organization. Considered the biggest media phenomenon in the history of Ultimate, the Irishman has three defeats in his last four fights and has a record of 22 positive results and six negative results.
