Currently rotating the roles of fighter and official commentator for Ultimate, Dominick Cruz took a sincere jab at his broadcast partner Daniel Cormier. In a press conference before the UFC 269 next Saturday (11), the former bantamweight champion (up to 61,2kg) accused 'DC' of not taking his work seriously and not studying the athletes who will be part of the card.

“I see (John) Anik do so much homework before a fight. People have no idea how much homework he needs to do to be prepared for this. Most of the praise for me really goes to him. He leads us on the broadcast with the way he speaks. When it comes to 'DC', I generally keep silent. I love Cormier, he's my friend, but for me, from my experience, he doesn't do his homework. He wants to come and go, do the work, make his money and I think he cares about us, but it's just different. He doesn't prepare with my experience. I hope he watches some footage this time of me so he knows what I’m doing and why I’m doing it, but I’m not going to hold my breath on that, that’s for sure,” Cruz said.

Former bantamweight champion, Dominick Cruz returned to winning ways last March, when he defeated Casey Keeney by split decision. Professional since 2005, the 'Dominador' has a record of 23 triumphs and three setbacks in professional MMA.
