Former UFC champion Holly Holm is inducted into the Boxing Hall of Fame

Last Tuesday (7), Holly holm was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame Class of 2022. The former UFC bantamweight champion (up to 61,2 kg) joins names like Roy Jones Jr., Miguel Cotto and Regina Halmich.

The nomination to the Hall of Fame of noble art was celebrated by Holly holm through a post on his official Instagram profile.

Before migrating to MMA, Holly holm She was world champion in three divisions, with a record of 33 wins, two defeats and three draws in the noble art. Holm's last fight in the sport was in 2013, when she defeated Mary McGee by unanimous decision and defended her three world belts.

In MMA, Holly holm partly repeated his success in the ring, winning the first ten fights of his career and winning the UFC bantamweight belt with a knockout over Ronda Rousey. After that, Holm ended up being dethroned by Miesha Tate and losing the next two title fights, against Germain de Randamie e Chris Cyborg, both in the featherweight division (up to 65,7 kg).
