Garbrandt's rival at UFC 269 shows confidence in achieving victory: 'Don't put money on Cody'

Number six in the flyweight rankings, Kai Kara France believes that his rival next Saturday (11) will feel the change in category in his style of play

Responsible for receiving cody garbrandt in the flyweight division (up to 56,7kg), Kai Kara France believes it will have an advantage over its rival in the UFC 269. In an interview with 'MMANews', the New Zealand fighter said that the former bantamweight champion will feel the change in category in his fighting style and 'warned' fans not to bet on a triumph for 'No love'.

“Stylistically, we are a great matchup. I come forward, I like to swing and I use kickboxing a lot. I have great cardio. He's always had the speed advantage at bantamweight, but now moving down to flyweight, he won't have that speed advantage because we're all fast. People, if you're underestimating me, don't put money on Cody, because you're going to lose him”, teased the New Zealander.

Number six in the flyweight rankings, Kara-France is looking for a new streak of victories to get closer to the top of the division. In his last four fights, the New Zealander achieved two triumphs and two setbacks. At 28 years old, the fighter has an MMA record of 22 positive results and nine negative results.
