Bellator President Scott Coker denies interest in signing Kevin Lee

Free on the market after being released from the UFC, the lightweight was ruled out as a possible member of the rival organization's squad by the company's own representative.

Fired from UFC at the beginning of December, light weight (up to 70,3kg) Kevin Lee did not 'fill the eyes' of its former home's main competitor. In an interview after the Bellator 272 last Friday (03), the organization's president Scott Coker said he was happy with the fighters he has on his squad and ruled out hiring the former challenger for the interim belt.

“We only have a certain number of vacancies at the moment and we are very happy with our list of fighters”, responds directly to the president of Bellator.

Kevin's dismissal was controversial and caused irritation on the part of the fighter. Lee claims he was shut down via email and complained of a 'lack of respect' from the company.
