“On July 22nd, I was returning home from my training, while walking over the crossing, a car hit me and ran into my foot. I felt pain in my knee instantly and knew my foot was broken. Then the guy got out of the car asking if I was okay, while the front wheel of the car is still on my foot. After that, I spent three weeks on crutches,” recalled Todorovic.
Furthermore, Dusko also stated that he had problems returning to training and did not even have the opportunity to prepare properly for combat. Still, he managed to beat his opponent with a knockout in the first round.
“I only managed to go to the gym and have therapy on my knee and foot. This happened until September, when I started doing light training again without much movement. We had to change everything for this fight and I was nowhere near my 100%. My leg still got stuck in the warm-up for the fight. It wasn’t easy at all,” she concluded.
Despite this, the Serb eased his position in Ultimate, as he was under pressure with two defeats in a row, against Punahele Soriano e Gregory Robocop, both in 2021. In his career, now, there are 11 triumphs and two setbacks.
