Last victim of Charles do Bronx, Michael Chandler praises Brazilian, but bets on Poirier's victory

Former Bellator champion said he was impressed by Charles' level, but stated that Poirier 'is destined to win the belt'

In less than two weeks, in the main fight of UFC 269, Charles of the Bronx defends the lightweight belt (up to 70,3 kg) for the first time against Dustin poirier in one of the most anticipated duels of the year. Last victim of the Brazilian, Michael chandler believes that the belt will change hands on December 11th, in Las Vegas.

During his participation in the “DC & RC” podcast, presented by the former champion Daniel Cormier, Michael chandler said he believed in the victory of Dustin poirier about Charles of the Bronx in the upcoming title fight. Defeated by the Brazilian precisely in the fight for the vacant belt, in May, the former Bellator champion praised his tormentor, but stated that he sees Poirier as better in all areas.
