the american Mark Muñoz was the last of nine victims of Chris Weidman in MMA. On the other hand, he was part of the camp of training Anderson Silva for Spider's first fight against Chael Sonnen. With experience of meeting the two protagonists of UFC 162, Muñoz is betting on Anderson to win.
In an interview with Combate.com, Muñoz thinks that his former training partner will remain with the belt after Saturday's fight:
“I think Anderson will win. He will have the usual movement, but he is so precise that he will be able to avoid falls. Chris will try to close the distance and Anderson will work the angles, as he always does. And if he does, it'll be an easy fight. If Chris can get him to the cage and take him down, then he has a chance, but if Anderson moves the way I know he can, Chris is in for a long night.”
Weidman and Muñoz faced each other at UFC On FUEL TV 4 in July 2012, when the current middleweight challenger won by TKO in the second round. Both ended up getting injured and haven't fought since. At UFC 162, Weidman and Muñoz once again share the same card, with Mark facing Tim Boetsch.
