The biggest light heavyweight (up to 93kg) in the history of MMA, 'Bones' is close to completing two years without having a professional fight in mixed martial arts. The American last acted in February 2020, when he defended his old belt against Dominick reyes. Months later, the athlete gave up his title.

Outside of the category he led for more than 10 years, Jon began preparing to debut at heavyweight. The athlete, however, came into conflict with Ultimate, demanding better payments. Since then, the fighter has not expected a return.
