14# – 'I want to date…'

To start the list, at #14, an unusual statement by Jessica Eye. After her winning debut at UFC 166 in 2013, the American stated that she was unable to find a boyfriend because her profession 'pushed away' some suitors.
The North American even made a request for the men to approach her with the intention of 'flirting', as they just wanted to talk about their struggles. Now, however, it seems that the situation has not changed and, eight years later, the fighter – who occupies eighth place in the flyweight division (56,7kg) – remains single.

Great media personality in the world of fights for his 'trash talk', Conor McGregor could not be left out of the list. However, the 'Notório' managed, in fact, to attest to its quality by overcoming Donald Cerrone in January 2020, in the main fight of UFC 246.
At the time, the Irishman had not played for a year since being submitted by his arch-rival Khabib Nurmagomedov in the fourth round and impressed the fans when he knocked out the resilient 'Cowboy' after just 40 seconds, in front of a deafening crowd.

12# – 'Money' wanted a million-dollar fortune to face McGregor or Khabib

Boxing legend, Floyd Mayweather became famous for his quality in the ring and, in addition, he also always collected multimillion-dollar purses with his duels in the sport. In October 2020, 'Money' was already flirting with retirement, but was being considered for a rematch against Conor McGregor or a clash against Khabib Nurmagomedov.
Therefore, the North American asked for around US$300 million (around R$1,5 billion at the old rate) so that he could 'do one more' and the team at SUPER FIGHTS he made a list of what could be purchased for the amount required by the boxer.
11# – Best knockout in history?

The evolution of the sport has MMA fans debating topics such as: 'what is the best knockout of all time in the UFC?' It is Joaquin buckley arrived strong for the dispute. In November 2020, the North American shocked the world by knocking out Impa Kasanganay in an emblematic outcome with a round kick. The company's president, Dana White, also pointed out the outcome as the most plastic in history.

In the first chapter of the rivalry, the welterweights (up to 77kg.) Kamaru Usman e Colby covington faced each other in a real war in UFC 245, in November 2019. And, on that occasion, the Nigerian defended his title by knocking him out in the fifth round.
The fight did not end well for the North American, who suffered a fractured jaw and had the 'X-Ray' image released. The two athletes met again at the UFC 268, with a new setback from Covington – this time with a unanimous decision from the judges.
9# – 'Bicycle Kick' in MMA

The battle between Max Holloway e Yair Rodriguez was marked by the great dedication of the fighters in much of the duel, but another scene caught the attention of the MMA public. At a disadvantage and willing to improvise to achieve victory, the Mexican attacked his opponent with a plastic blow similar to a bicycle kick.
In fact, the blow hit Holloway in the face, who took the opportunity to counterattack and 'retaliated', making Yair fall in a sitting position. The duel took place in UFC Las Vegas 42, in November this year.

And MMA isn't just about good news and sporting moments. In a clash for UEA Warriors, in Abu Dhabi, Ahmad Al Darmaki locked in a rear naked choke on Bogdan Kirilenko, who gave him the 'three slaps'. The athlete, however, ignored the withdrawal signal and Marc Goddard's orders to release his rival. He ended up disqualified and even tried to attack the driver of the duel.
7# – Whoever is a king never loses his majesty!

Considered by many to be the best heavyweight of all time, Fedor Emelianenko came out of retirement to face Quinton Rampage Jackson. In December 2019, the legend returned to the Saitama Super Arena (JAP) and, in the place that made him famous, he performed brilliantly to knock out the veteran in the first round.
In his first combination in the fight, Emelianenko threw three characteristic punches that made Quinton jackson retreat, but it was with a direct shot that the veteran fell. The North American was also criticized for his physical shape.

MMA legend, Jon Jones fought a battle to defend his title in 2019 and, according to one of the judges, he lost to Thiago Marreta. And, if he previously praised the Brazilian, 'Bones' didn't have the chance to provoke him when he watched the Rio de Janeiro's defeat to Glover Teixeirain November 2020.
Jones used his social networks to mock the stance of Marreta's fans and celebrated the fact that the Rio native lost to his compatriot, so he won't have to read something absurd on the internet and get involved in a war in the virtual environment.

In mixed martial arts competitions, are there limits to provocations? Roman Dik tried to go to the limit, but ended up suffering the price for it. In the fight against Levan Makshvili, valid for the ACA (Absolute Championship Akhmat), the athlete tried to provoke his opponent by calling him for open striking and was surprised by a well-aimed combination of punches and fell 'crooked' into the cage. The duel took place in August 2020.

In October 2020, one of the strongest scenes in the history of combat sports marked the tenth edition of the national Taura MMA event. In a fight between Ary Farias and Johnny Campbell, the Brazilian went for it, got a takedown and went to the back. At the same moment, the referee noticed that the North American's ear was torn and tried to stop the fight.

2# – 'Tattoo' causes controversy...

One of the main names on the last card of 2020, José Aldo attracted attention for another reason Marlon Vera. The Brazilian legend appeared in combat with a sticker paying homage to the Brazilian Navy on his chest and, when asked about the 'tattoo', he tried to explain that it was a tribute.
According to the man from Manaus, for the duel, he concentrated his energies on his evolution in boxing with the national team and, thus, was able to gain another experience of the 'noble art' with the military. The training had an effect and the athlete won with a unanimous decision from the judges.

And, at the top of the list, the most read article in the history of SUPER FIGHTS is marked by a 'bucket of cold water' on Johnny Walker. A great Brazilian promise in the middleweight division (up to 83,9kg) of the UFC, the Brazilian entered as favorite, but was surprised by the North American Corey anderson, UFC 244in November 2019.
After shining with three devastating knockouts, Walker became a favorite of the green and yellow fans and failed to meet expectations, being knocked out by a straight shot from Anderson, in the first round of the duel.
