“I broke my right (hand) before the fight. Many people don't know this, but I broke it three weeks before and didn't even get to throw a punch with it until the day of the fight. I only did it backstage, warming up before the fight,” said Usman.

Coincidentally, Kamaru says that the injury happened during sparring against a lightweight (up to 70,3kg.) Justin gaethje, when he threw a punch. He recalled the moment and highlighted that, at the same moment, he felt like he had broken.
