After defeat to Vicente Luque, Michael Chiesa explains the reasons for his quick return to the octagon

In an interview before UFC Vegas 43, the North American expressed his desire to prove himself as 'the guy' and showed respect for his opponent

Just over three months after being completed by Vincent Luque, Michael chiesa he will be back in the Octagon and of his own free will. In an interview before UFC Vegas 43 next Saturday (20), 'Maverick' declared that he wants to prove that he is still 'the guy' and showed a lot of respect for his next opponent, Sean brady.

“I just want to prove that I’m still the guy. There's no better way to do that than fighting a tough, undefeated, rising prospect. Look at his line of work. He's been great. Brady is undefeated in the UFC and in his career. I know what he's capable of. I know what he brings to the table. This is no cakewalk. He's a tough kid, but I still have to prove that I'm the guy. And I know I'm the man. And I know I'll have my hand raised. I’m super excited to get out there and compete,” said Chiesa.

Number six in the ranking, Michael had four consecutive victories until he was quickly defeated by Vincent Luque last August. The American has an MMA record of 17 wins and five setbacks.
