Apparently, the rivalry between Marvin vettori e Paulo borrachinha there was no end after the duel between the two athletes, which took place in the main fight of the UFC Las Vegas 41. On his social networks, the Italian recalled the Brazilian's controversy with the weight cut and showed off a watch, which he would have bought with the value of the fine paid by his opponent.

“I want to make a toast to Paulo Costa (Borrachinha), because you let me have a good watch to improve everything. So come on, baby. Thank you, Paulo”, said Vettori before toasting the moment with a glass.
The main fight of UFC Vegas 41, which took place on October 23, was marked by changes to the current contract. Initially, the duel would be valid in the middleweight category, but Borrachinha stated that he would not be able to make weight and even lined up a 'catchy weight'. Even so, Vettori decided to accept fighting at light heavyweight (up to 93kg) and beat the Brazilian in a unanimous decision by the judges.
The imbroglio even caused Paulo to give up 20% of his scholarship to Marvin vettori, as a fine demanded by the Italian's staff so that he could be in action in the up to 93kg category.
