A welterweight athlete (up to 77kg.) and undefeated in his career, Roman Faraldo gave another example of his talent in style, with a knockout that promises to be among the most plastic of 2021 in the sport. In a duel valid for the preliminary card of the Bellator 271 last Friday (12), the fighter defeated Robert Turnquest in the first round with a brutal flying knee.

With the triumph, Faraldo achieved his sixth victory in a row and arrives strong for the welterweight division at Bellator. At 28 years old, he is still undefeated in his career and has five knockouts in a row.
The experienced Turnquest, 38 years old, suffers his third knockout in four fights. Having spent time at M-1 Global and Titan FC, the American made his debut with the organization on the wrong foot.
The fight
It didn't take long for Faraldo to show his superiority in combat. With a provocative style, the athlete provoked his opponent with each blow delivered in battle. Before the brutal knockout, Roman had already hit Turnquest with a left hook that he managed to land.
Taking advantage of the opportunity, the undefeated fighter delivered a brutal knee that hit his opponent's chin – falling unconscious in the Bellator cage.
