The omission of the exact location in Bader's message leaves the doubt as to whether Belo Horizonte will actually be the stage for fight night. In recent weeks, news released by the specialized press, and verified together with sources close to the Ultimate organization, indicated that the capital of Minas Gerais would host this edition. The administrator of Mineirinho, the likely sports complex to host the UFC, however, denied that there was already an agreement signed to hold the event.
Ryan “Darth” Bader, 30, has a record of 15 wins and three losses. The champion of the eighth season of The Ultimate Fighter is coming off a quick win over Vladimir Matyushenko in January. The North American will have a big challenge ahead, as Glover Teixeira He is considered one of the main light heavyweight names in Ultimate. The Brazilian, who has been undefeated since 2005, has a record of 21 wins and just two defeats in his career.
