Former Invicta FC champion and representative of the strawweights (up to 52,1kg.) of Ultimate, Livinha Souza is no longer part of the organization chaired by Dana White. After two consecutive defeats, the athlete could not resist the bad moment and confirmed, on her social networks, her departure from the company. In the publication, the fighter acknowledged her lower-than-expected performance and admitted looking for a new company to introduce herself to.

"Good morning guys. Just stopping by to let you know that I'm no longer part of the UFC. I had bad fights, ups and downs, a lot of injuries and I wasn't able to perform and deliver my best. I don't regret anything about this journey, because it was all learning. That’s life”, wrote the combatant, in her account on Instagram.
The athlete took the opportunity to thank those who supported her work, in addition to the team. Finally, Livinha confirmed her desire to find a 'new home' to fight.
“I wanted to thank everyone for their support. My manager, sponsors, friends. Everyone who supports and supported me. Let's look for new MMA organizations to continue improving and seeking that joy in the form of good fights. Thank you, UFC. (…) Page turned and ‘let’s move on to the next chapter”, he concluded.
Considered a promise of the straws, Souza, 30 years old, debuted in Ultimate in September 2018. For the organization, the fighter competed in six appearances, winning three and being beaten in the rest.
